چکیده

A Multimodal Information System aims to provide transport customers pertinent real time information during their travels. The world Multimodal means different types of transport devices but we choose to expand accessible services to various kind of information (transport, weather, stock exchange, itinerary, traffic, perturbations...) in order to provide travellers required information in any chosen data format, taking into account their mobility. However, the exponential growth of services and information providers available on large networks such as the Internet make the realisation of the expected structure very difficult. Therefore, the complexity of such systems can be properly described in terms of interaction between different kinds of autonomous entities. In this context, we propose a multi-agent system describing agents’ behaviours and interactions, using several approaches such as evolutionary algorithms and mobile agents’ technology which are already published in previous works. In this paper, we focus on the internal structure of our proposed system and we detail behaviours of agents responsible of the data

Public Transport Ontology for Passenger Information Retrieval

Passenger information aims at improving the user-friendliness of public transport systems while influencing passenger route choices to satisfy transit user’s travel requirements. The integration of transit information from multiple agencies is a major challenge in implementation of multi-modal passenger information systems. The problem of information sharing is further compounded by the multi-l...

Cooperative Control of Mobile Robots in Creating a Runway Platform for Quadrotor Landing

Multi-agent systems are systems in which several agents accomplish a mission in a cooperative manner. In this paper, a novel idea for the construction of a movable runway platform based on multi-agent systems is presented. It is assumed that an aerial agent (quadrotor) decides to make an emergency landing due to reasons such as a decrease in energy level or technical failure, while there is no ...

Novel Ontology Model for Communicating Heterogeneous Negotiation Mobile-Agent in a Transport Environment

In this paper, we address the problem of negotiation process in a multi-agents system by using ontologies. Therefore, we present an ontology solution based on the knowledge management system for semantic heterogeneity. The proposed solution prevents the misunderstanding during the negotiation process through the agents’ communications. Our approach aims to enable agents able to understand each ...
